Shachar Gilad

Shachar Gilad is the Founder and CEO of SoundBetter – the leading marketplace for music production talent.  Shachar grew SoundBetter to a multi-million dollar a year business with a 3 person team utilizing creative growth strategies.

Before SoundBetter Shachar was Director of Product Marketing at Grammy Winning software company Waves Audio, worked at Apple at their Cupertino headquarters with the Pro Apps Product Marketing team, and is a published and touring musician and music producer.  

Shachar was featured in The Next Web, Tech Crunch, Fast Company, Inc Magazine, Tech Cocktail and others. He is a mentor and speaker at MBA programs, Startup Accelerators and Conferences including 500 Startups, Techstars, Founder Institute and Slush on topics ranging from Product Marketing, Growth, Entrepreneurship and MusicTech.

Shachar holds a BA in Philosophy from Brandeis University and an MA in Business Administration and International Relations from New York University.
