Anna Azari
Anna Azari was born in Vilnus. She has graduated from the University in Haifa, the National Security College and the Hebrew University in Jerusalem. Her focus on administration and diplomacy has started more than 30 years ago. With regard to her professional career, she started working for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Israel in 1983. Six years later, she was appointed on her first foreign mission as the consul general in San Francisco. With the time, she shifted her focus to Europe and Russia. Therefore, she continued her diplomatic mission, serving Ambassador, in Ukraine and Moldova (1999-2003) followed by Russia (2006-2010). Until 2014, before taking the position of Israel’s Ambassador to Poland, she was the Deputy Director General and at the same time the Director of Eurasia Department in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Israel.
